Lindsay Lohan has opened up to Oprah Winfrey about her past rehab experiences, drug use and her alcohol addiction in her much anticipated tell-all chat, which aired in the US last night.


Lindsay Lohan has opened up to Oprah Winfrey about her past rehab experiences, drug use and her alcohol addiction in her much anticipated tell-all chat, which aired in the US last night.

Lindsay started her televised interview by telling the talk show Queen: “My intention is to just, you know, be me — be open and honest.”

Having just emerged from her sixth trip to rehab, where she successfully completed a court ordered 90 day treatment plan, Oprah was keen to get to the bottom of the star's problems with alcohol, directly asking her. "Are you an addict?"

"Yeah," Lohan answers. "What is your drug of choice?" Oprah asks. "Alcohol," Lohan says. "That, in the past, was a gateway to other things for me… I tried cocaine with alcohol."



The Mean Girls actress added that this time around she's determined to stay on the right track:
"As long as I stay honest with myself and just do the work that I’m willing to do and have been willing to do and am doing, then there’s nothing that can stand in my way of that. I’m my own worst enemy, and I know that and I’ve been.”



“I haven’t felt the way I feel now in a very long time,” Lindsay said. “I feel whole again. I have such a desire to want to keep this feeling and want to stay this way. I’m willing to do whatever it takes. I really want to be on set again, that’s what feeds me!”
