Pregnancy and then proposal

Is it ever a good idea to get engaged because the woman is pregnant? Would he have proposed if the woman had not gotten pregnant?

Celebrities also get engaged because their pregnant, some of them end up really happy in life while some after a while realose that they got married for all the wrong reasons.

To me it doesn't matter whether you get married because you don't want your child born out of wedlock because the child was still conceived out of wedlock. Not to say that's a bad thing but getting married for that reason is just plain stupid in my eyes.

If pregnant with a baby don't rush into marriage wait and see if the relationship will last after the baby then get engaged if it looks like it will last. Don't rush into it because there is a baby coming, it might be the wrong decision and you might have to put your child through a lot when the parents get divorced.
