Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who spent 10 years as "The View's" lone conservative voice, will return to television this Monday on friendlier turf, Fox News' morning show "Fox & Friends." The 36-year-old television personality will replace Gretchen Carlson, who left the couch to host her own afternoon program. “It already feels like family,” she told the Providence Journal on Saturday. “I’ve been watching it for so long, it feels like family.”

Hasselbeck is also toeing the family line. “I choose not to define Fox as a conservative news outlet. It’s fair and balanced, providing equal information on all sides of the issues," she said of her new network TV home. Fox News has released a preview of Hasselbeck's debut on "Fox & Friends," in which she gushes about her new employer and jokes around with co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. "I feel like they're my brothers," Hasselbeck says of Doocy and Kilmeade. "Joining the Fox News family is the equivalent of growing up as a Boston Red Sox fan or a Yankees fan, and then being asked to play for the team," she adds. "This is an honor and a privilege, and I'm just beyond thrilled to be on the team."
