Actress Jennifer Aniston's engagement ring is reportedly labelled as gaudy by style experts.

The 43-year-old gave a glimpse of her engagement ring this weekend for the first time after being proposed by actor Justin Theroux in August.

She was spotted at New Mexico at the weekend, wearing her ring which is assumed to be a 8 carat diamond. However, according to experts, it looks more like a cocktail wear ring and too loud for an engagement ring, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"Jennifer's engagement ring is valuable, for sure, but a stone that size is not exactly sophisticated," a style expert said.

"In fact, one might argue that it is downright gaudy. It looks like it belongs on the hand of a real housewife. I love Jennifer's clean and elegant aesthetic - but this ring is completely at odds with that," the expert added.

While the date of the marriage has not been announced yet, the couple might tie the knot in New Mexico.

Jennifer Aniston's ex-boyfriend Paul Sculfor was overwhelmed by her celebrity status, says his former lover Lady Victoria Hervey.

British-born model Sculfor, who recently split from Aniston following a two-month fling, struggled to cope with the attention surrounding their relationship, claims Hervey.

Hervey told Britain's Hello! magazine: "He was given the keys to her house and at one point had to spend a week without leaving it as up to 50 paparazzi at a time were outside waiting to get a picture of the two of them together.

"We're good friends and I was one of the first people he told about Jennifer. He said she made him happy but he was having to keep under the radar. One minute he's living a normal life and the next he's over every magazine and television channel in America.

"He realized the pressure of fame - it's something you want until you actually get it."

Jennifer Aniston has told her new man he is better in bed than her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

The former 'Friends' actress is currently dating former builder Paul Sculfor and is said to be very impressed with his bedroom skills.

A source close to Jennifer - who has also dated Vince Vaughn since divorcing Brad - told Britain's Star magazine: "She's left Paul in no doubt that he is the man for her. She even let slip that he's better in bed than either Brad or Vince!"

The 38-year-old star has also tried to spice things up in the bedroom by buying saucy underwear from The Love Boutique in Santa Monica.

The source added: "She spent nearly £400 on suspender belts, pants and stockings. Jen shopped online and then sent her assistant to pick the items up."

As well as being dynamite between the sheets, Jen claims model Paul is very romantic.

Her close friend Tiffany Laws said: "He bought Jen a huge bunch of flowers, then had chocolates and champagne delivered. She loved that. Jen goes by what her heart is telling her, and the initial indications are really good. She's not bothered about gossip. She will give him a chance to show he's the right guy for her."

Jennifer Aniston met her ex-husband Brad Pitt's mother Jane on Sunday (17.06.07).

Jane, who was escorted to Jennifer's rented Malibu beachfront home by Brad's security team, spent two hours with her former daughter-in-law.

A photographer for gossip website Celebrity Babylon said: The second the SUV arrived, Jen's bodyguard rushed out and got the door for Jane. She was quickly taken into the house where she stayed for the next two hours."

Jennifer, who was reportedly left "devastated" by the breakdown of her marriage to Brad in 2005, has remained on good terms with Jane since the split.

Jane was said to be equally "upset" that her 43-year-old son's union with Jennifer, 38, ended.

Brad's new lover Angelina Jolie, with who he has three adopted children and a one-year-old biological daughter, was said to be less than impressed by the meeting.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Angelina really does not like Jennifer, even though Jennifer has not ever done anything to her and couldn't care less about her. She doesn't like that Brad's mom is still close with Jennifer and is threatened by that."

The O.C. actor, who is set to star alongside Jennifer Aniston in new film 'The Pentogram', says he has a long-standing crush on the former 'Friends' actress.

He said: "Jen's hot, I had such a crush on her through 'Friends' and you know, she's single. Demi Moore's bringing the toyboy back."

Jennifer Aniston's reported new boyfriend has been identified as 36-year-old British model Paul Sculfor.

The actress was spotted holding hands with the heart-throb - who has appeared in campaigns for Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and Levi's - over dinner late last month.

And now U.S. publication People is claiming the pair have subsequently enjoyed a string of further dates.

Sculfor's friend and former flame, London socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, can understand why Aniston has fallen for him. She says, "He's a lovely guy. A gentleman. Simple things, like opening doors, he does all that. He'll think of the woman before himself."

Aniston has been single since splitting from actor Vince Vaughn last year. Meanwhile Sculfor has previously dated George Clooney's ex, Lisa Snowdon.
